As director of operations for the Minecraft studio at Microsoft, David is responsible for managing operational budgets, leading organizational planning, and ensuring smooth integration of Mojang as a minimally-integrated studio while helping drive market expansion for the Minecraft business. David has been with Microsoft for over 20 years holding various business management positions in the U.S. and Canada. He has previously led sales and marketing for a regional IT consulting firm, and held worldwide business development responsibilities at KPMG. He has served in several local leadership roles with Boy Scouts of America Troop 550. He is also currently secretary of the Board of Directors for Block by Block, an internationally focused charity working in collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlement Program.
