Betty is a registered nurse by training. She worked for 9 years in adolescent/adult psychiatry and 10 years as a volunteer with ALS Health Services. She has a heart for children and has spent more than 25 years with the junior and senior high students at Overlake Christian Church. She also volunteers at Jubilee Reach, Prisoners for Christ, Eagle Outreach Ministries and Washington Student Leadership.
